My Story

I was born in Tucson, Arizona in 1971. I grew up not far from St. Simon's Island, Georgia as an only child. I always loved horses, and my parents were able to finance the sport of hunter show jumping for several years. It was a lot of fun and I won many awards. But it was not too long before I became more interested in boys and my social life. When I was 16, my parents
divorced and I moved to Naples, Florida with my mother. The kids at school teased me so much about my Southern accent that I made a conscious effort to lose it, and now it is totally gone. When I talk to anyone from where I used to live, I can't believe I used to sound like that! In high school I was on the diving team. I spent my free time at the beach or going boating with friends. When I was 18, a friend encouraged me to enter a local swimwear pagent...and I won! I went on to be first runner-up at the national finals for the Venus Swimwear Model Search. A photographer noticed me and asked if I would be interested in posing
for Playboy. Of course, I was very interested! He sent my photos to Playboy photographer Arny Freytag, who showed them to the editors. The next thing I knew I was flying to Los Angeles to do a test shoot. Almost as soon as I returned home from this, Playboy called to congratulate me on being selected as a Playmate! This was the most exciting time of my life! I flew right back to Los Angeles and stayed at the Playboy Mansion for the duration of my shoot.
What a beautiful place! It was a fairy tale come to life! I've always been blessed with a fast metabolism, so I could enjoy all the good food that I wanted. I worked out a lot and just wandered the grounds, taking advantage of the fabulous gift I was given.
The actual photo shoot was a lot of fun. I would spend about an hour having my hair and makeup done, then head into the studio, where they had a set built to look like an old diner. Arny Freytag was the best photographer. He was very professional and made me feel comfortable and relaxed. And my family and friends were proud and supportive. For a while, I traveled a lot for Playboy promotions -- the time we spent shooting Playmates in Paradise in Jamaica was the best and
I hope to return someday. I was also still working with Venus Swimwear, along with Playmates Christina Leardini and Cheryl Bachman. I always hoped to get into real fashion modeling, but my height -- 5'5" -- left me about three inches too short. I did, however, do some commercials -- for Ford "Splash" trucks, Toyota Celica and Disney World. After the traveling started to
taper off, I found other things to keep me busy. I got into the sport of skydiving, which is just an unbelievable rush. Nothing like getting ready to jump out when the door goes up and the cold air rushes in. (Especially when you're wearing just a bikini -- I did that only once!) There is no better way to get the perfect view of a beautiful Florida sunset! It is somewhat dangerous, though. I dislocated my shoulder once in freefall. My right arm rendered useless, I had to reach across with my left arm to open my parachute, tumbling all the while. Not a very smooth
landing, either. I had done a lot of jumping before that -- 250 jumps all together, which is not a lot in the skydiving community, where some have completed 1000 to 3000 jumps! But that one experience scared me a little, and I eventually lost the great enthusiasm I once had. Then I started working as an assistant to a sushi chef. (Sushi is one of my favorite foods.) My friends were amazed that I knew how to roll sushi. It was the best way for me to eat lots of my favorite food at a discount! I enjoyed food prep so much I was considering going to culinary school. But then I decided I really didn't want to slave in a kitchen every day. Now I am thinking about getting a degree to become a pharmacist. I still enjoy going to parties at the Mansion, particularly Midsummer Night's Dream. I love taking my friends there to let them live out their own fairy tales. Now I can be found spending my free time ballroom dancing (what a switch from skydiving!).
My mother got me interested and I just love it! I am trying to get good enough to compete one day. My favorite dances are the swing, the cha cha and the samba. I love all kinds of music -- alternative, rock, techno, even country! I would like to one day learn to play guitar and even take some voice lessons. I have also been thinking about getting involved in acting again. Another thing on my list of things to do is to learn how to scuba dive. I've been blessed to be able to travel to some of the worlds most beautiful beaches and it's a shame not to take advantage of that. I think it would be so cool to dive deep in the crystal clear water and swim with the fishes.
My photographer is a big NASCAR fan and he wants me to do the Richard Petty driving experience with him. That's where you get behind the wheel of a real stock car and drive on the track at over 140 mph! I can do that. As a matter of fact my dream job would be to test drive automobiles on the autobahn over in Europe.
Working with Playboy has really given me the confidence to pursue any dream. I would encourage any girl considering posing for Playboy to go for it! I will always have great memories for the rest of my life; no one can take that away! And there will always be parties to go to at the Mansion, where Playmates are always VIP!
While all this had been going on I haven't had much interest or time for modeling. Several years have passed since I've stepped in front of the camera and even though my friends kept telling me I still look the same as the day I posed for Playboy, I wasn't so sure. Time marched on and then one day the modeling bug bit me again. I decided to give a long time photographer friend of mine a call and see if he would be interested in doing some new pictures. He was my very first photographer and I felt really comfortable working with him. It took only a few shots to get back into the rhythm and flow of posing and the results of our reunion shoot were amazing!

He looked at the pictures and told me I looked better than ever and demanded to know why in the world I wasn't modeling and why I didn't have my own official website. I told him I wasn't sure I still had it and I didn't have anyone to work with me on it. He thought for about a nano second and then volunteered to help me out. Since then we have done several shoots and the results can be seen right here on my very own official website. Now I'm excited to be modeling again and it's opened a whole new world of opportunities. I hope you take the time to visit my members section and see my latest work. It's a great way to get to know me better and you will see me like never before. I'm sure you will have as much fun looking at them as I did making them.

With all my love,
